Smells Like Teen Angst

For my manipulate your viewer project the cheesy theme I chose was "teen angst". To make the images even cheesier I used Photoshop to put a black and white filter on the images. Despite how stereotypical this theme is, it is something almost all teenagers experience and everyone has their own way of expressing it. By definition angst means "a feeling of deep anxiety or dread, typically an unfocused one about the human condition or the state of the world in general." and it is quite a normal feeling to have in the teenage years because of all the change that is going on in our lives. Change can be hard especially as a teen. The changing of friend groups, entering a new school, and finding where you fit in is very challenging and causes teens to be overwhelmed by whats going on and are unsure of how to express themselves. A lot of teenagers will rebel against their parents so they can feel a sense of control over their own lives.
