Performance task

First picture: 1/13 F.22

Second picture: 1/6 F.5

both pictures were shot on a Nikon with a 1855 mm lens

In my pictures I chose to use Morgan as my model because I don't like having my picture or having the focus on me. All my life I have been very shy and that is what the first picture represents. The first picture of Morgan represents the outgoing version of myself I become once I am comfortable around someone. The second picture shows the shy and quiet side of me. I chose to have the first picture slightly out of focus because my outgoing side is something I don't usually focus on or draw attention to. Some of my earliest memories are hiding behind my mom's legs in the school yard because I was so shy and didn't want to meet anyone. I have always wanted to be an outgoing girl who can easily make friends however this isn't always the case, I often struggle with making new friends until I have known the person for a while. The one place I am the most comfortable and the most myself is at summer camp, at camp I can come out of my bubble of shyness very easily because it is a place where I feel there is very little judgment. Last summer I became lucky enough to go on a two week canoe trip with 14 other girls where I made friends of a life time all because I took a step outside of my bubble and decided to be my true self from the very beginning.
